Medical Director for Cherish Hospice Dr. Vipul Patel, MD, is the Medical Director for Cherish Hospice. He is an internal medicine specialist at his own practice in Springfield, Ohio, and he is affiliated with Ohio Valley Surgical Hospital. He is a graduate of Baroda Medical College, class of 1997.

Amanda Butler, RN,  Regional Administrator for Cherish Hospice. I come with 11 years of experience in hospice care; I am deeply committed to supporting patients and their families during some of life’s most meaningful and challenging moments. I chose hospice nursing because it allows me to provide compassionate care while also educating families and communities so they can better understand and feel comfortable with hospice services. I believe that building trusting relationships and bringing comfort to patients and their loved ones is at the heart of quality hospice care. Outside of work, I enjoys spending time with her family.

Krista Harding is the Volunteer Coordinator for Cherish Hospice, which involves recruiting volunteers, matching them with patients, and the retention of our wonderful volunteers. She also assists with all HR duties such as scheduling interviews, orientation, managing personnel files, employee education, and employee celebrations.

Originally from Phoenix Arizona, Jon moved to the Midwest on a scholarship to Purdue university. Jon graduated with a BA Degree with a major in psychology. Jon’s further education led him to Arizona state university where he graduated with a masters in education. Jon’s hobbies include science fiction movies and competition BBQ.
