Our Three Pillars of Care

Compassion

The end-of-life journey is challenging for the patient and their loved ones. Our number one priority during this physically and emotionally draining time is to surround the patient and their family with uncompromised compassion. They need to feel loved, cared for and cared about. The least we can do during the end of life time period is make sure that the patient is ensconced in a cocoon of compassion with caregivers who feel for them and with them.

Guidance

The maze of decisions and tasks faced as the end approaches is as confusing as it is daunting. We hold the family’s hand firmly as we guide them through the emotional, technical, and spiritual aspects that end of life brings with it. Nobody should have to go at it alone, and Cherish makes sure that the patient and their loved ones receive guidance at every step of the way.

Quality of Life

We cannot change the outcome, but we can affect the journey. We cherish the time a patient has left and will do everything in our power to enhance their physical and emotional comfort during that time. Using the best that pain management and mental health has to offer, we ensure that the patient’s physical and emotional symptoms are addressed and every last request is seen to.
