Dr. Williams grew up in Canton, Ohio, and graduated from Glen Oak High School in 1990. He went on to graduate from NEOUCOM in 1998. Dr. Williams became interested in Cherish Hospice to help patients maintain their comfort and dignity at the end of life.

Amanda Butler, RN, Regional Administrator for Cherish Hospice. I come with 11 years of experience in hospice care; I am deeply committed to supporting patients and their families during some of life’s most meaningful and challenging moments. I chose hospice nursing because it allows me to provide compassionate care while also educating families and communities so they can better understand and feel comfortable with hospice services. I believe that building trusting relationships and bringing comfort to patients and their loved ones is at the heart of quality hospice care. Outside of work, I enjoys spending time with her family.

Jake's healthcare career began working for a DME company specializing in custom wheelchairs. He later transitioned into the marketing role in the long-term care setting. After losing both of his parents to illness, Jake experienced the profound difference that hospice can make for patients during one of their most vulnerable times. Jake brings to Cherish an excitement of being part of something new and hopes to effect change in how people perceive Hospice.

Kimberly Woodford brings with her extensive knowledge in providing end-of-life care and providing leadership to caregivers in the hospice setting. She has a long history of providing care for pediatric patients and adult patients in the acute care setting and continues to educate future nurses at the college level. Kimberly maintains her Hospice and Palliative Care Certification and is one of the 2025 recipients of the HPNF Emerging Leader Award. Her dedication to evidence-based practice within the hospice specialty and providing transformational leadership positions her well to bring quality end-of-life care to the communities Cherish Hospice LLC serves.

Having experienced hospice in my personal life five years ago, I was called to this specialty. Having worked for both large corporate hospice agencies and small start-up hospice agencies, my favorite part of hospice nursing in both settings is the relationships made with patients and families. Being a hospice nurse is fulfilling far beyond other nursing roles I have experienced, and with hospice, I found my home in nursing with my very first patient.
