Becoming a hospice volunteer is a rewarding way to give back to your community. This includes a general orientation (4–6 hours) covering hospice philosophy, safety, and confidentiality. Some specialized roles, like our Veteran Program outreach or legacy projects (creating memory books), include additional brief workshops. A background check is also required for all direct-contact roles.
