To become a volunteer with us, you can follow these three steps:

Alternatively, you could serve as a hospice respite care volunteer, providing vital relief to primary caregivers by sitting with a patient so the family can take a break.
- Complete Training and Screening: We provide free, comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident and prepared. This includes a general orientation (4–6 hours) covering hospice philosophy, safety, and confidentiality. Some specialized roles, like our Veteran Program outreach or legacy projects (creating memory books), include additional brief workshops. A background check is also required for all direct-contact roles.
